                                             OBITUARY  NOTICE
Bradenton, Florida:   Charles Paces 79 of Bradenton , Florida and formerly of Leominster, MA passed away at his residence  on March 25,2018.
He was born December 12, 1938  in Prague, Czech Republic son of Karel and  Marie  (Kumstova) Paces.  He lived in Leominster many years before moving to Florida several years ago.
In 1961 he enlisted in the U.S Army and served until 1963 and was honorably discharged. He was a graduate of St. John’s University, college of Pharmacy in 1960, and practiced as a Registered Pharmacist for forty years. He was the owner of West Side Pharmacy for twenty years and prior to that worked in New York City and Senay Drug in Fitchburg, MA. He also worked for Radio Free Europe in Munich, Germany. He was a member of the Massachusetts Pharmacist Association,the Greendale Retired Men’s Club The Knights of Columbus and a volunteer at St. Vincent De Paul in Florida.
He was a member of Our Lady of The Lake Church in Leominster,MA.
He is survived by his wife Patricia Ann (Lavoie) LaCoss Paces of Bradenton, Florida, his son Thomas Michael Paces of Leominster,MA, a daughter Donna Marie Downs and husband Darrin of East Hampton, New York, grandchildren, Lauren, Abigail, Cameron, Sydney, and Kayla, two brothers Milo Paces of Southport, N.C. and Paul Paces  of Yorktown Heights, New York ,  a step-son Lance LaCoss of Leominster, step-grandchildren, L.J. Johnson, Kayla Deitsch, four step-great grandchildren nieces and nephews.
He was pre-deceased by his first wife of thirty-four years Janet C. (LeBlanc) Paces in 1998
His funeral will be held on Wednesday April 4,2018 with  a Mass @ 10a.m. in Our Lady of The Lake Church 1400 Main St. Leominster, MA. Interment will follow in St. Bernard’s Cemetery. Calling hours will be on Tuesday evening at the funeral home from 5 until 7:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers donation may be made to The beacon of Hope, P.O. box 426, Leominster, MA 01453
