Obituary Notice
Leominster: Lucille B. (Couturier) Robillard, 92 of Leominster, MA passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 20,2024 at the Life Care Center of Leominster, MA.
Lucille was born February 5, 1932 , in Fitchburg, MA , the daughter of Horace and Bernadette (Levesque) Couturier. She was raised in Fitchburg and was a graduate of St. Bernard’s Central Catholic High School,Class of 1949 .
She is survived by her sons, Daniel Robillard of Leominster, MA , Steven Robillard and his wife Sandra (Wellman) of Leominster, MA, her daughters, Lucie and her husband David St. Jean of Westminster,MA, and Leann and her husband Neil Rouleau of Milford, MA, 11 grandchildren , 8 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She also leaves her sister-in-law, Sr. Rose Robillard, SSA of Marlboro.
She was predeceased by her husband, Roger Robillard in 1981, her son Michael Robillard in 2023, two brothers, Horace Couturier Jr.,and Maurice Couturier, three sisters, Mildred Hedstrom, Jeanette McMaster, and Pauline Lemoine, and her daughter-in-law, Vicki Robillard.
After the death of her husband roger, Lucille at the Fitchburg State College bookstore and also worked for the IRS in Fitchburg, MA for 16 years as a Data Transcriber. She retired in 2005 at the age of 73.
Lucille enjoyed playing the piano, dancing, singing, and excelled at trivia. She was very active as a member of Our Lady of The Lake Church in Leominster, MA serving as chairperson for the Liturgical Committee, as a volunteer for the annual church bazaars, sewed baptismal bibs for the infants being baptized, was member of the church choir, and served as a Eucharistic Minister at the church.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, April 27,2024 @ Our Lady of The Lake Church, 1400 Main St. in Leominster, MA at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow in St. Bernard Cemetery A calling hour will be held at the funeral home on Saturday morning prior to the Mass from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. . All are welcome to attend.
