OBITUARY NOTICE
Leominster: Delrose B. (Butler) Cormier 93 of Leominster, MA. passed away peacefully Thursday January 11, 2018 in University of Mass Hospital, Worcester, MA. with her children at her side.
She was born April 3, 1924 in Fitchburg, MA. and was raised there. She attended and graduated from Fitchburg High School . She had lived in Leominster, MA. for the past 55 years.. before going to live with her daughter, Jeanne in Oakham, MA.
Delrose was a stay at home mom and raised five children. She was a member of the Leominster Art Association for many years, and enjoyed oil painting.
She was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Church in Leominster, MA.
She is survived by her children, Leo A. Cormier of Leominster, MA., Paul R. Cormier and wife Kimberly of Townsend, MA., Charlene Duddy and husband Kenneth of Fitchburg, MA., Anita D’Onfro and husband Ralph of Greenville, N.H., Jeanne St. Pierre and husband Richard of Oakham, MA., a brother Ronald Butler of Fitchburg, MA., her sister Therese Belletete of Baldwinville, MA. nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband of 28 years Leon M. Cormier in 1979, and brothers, George Butler of Fitchburg, MA. and Denis Butler of Gardner, MA. .
Her funeral will be held on Tuesday January 16,2018 with a Mass at 12 noon in Our Lady of The Lake Church, 1400 Main St. Leominster, MA. . Interment will follow in St. Bernard’s Cemetery. All are welcome to attend and should meet at the church. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to : The American Heart Association , Founders Affiliate, P.O. box 417005, Boston, MA. 02241-7005.
