                                             OBITUARY  NOTICE

Lunenburg:     Joanne  (Duprey)  Schreiner 77 of Lunenburg, MA passed away  Tuesday September 11, 2018 in UMass Medical Center, Worcester, MA.

She was born  in Fitchburg, MA July 13, 1941, daughter of Robert and Alma ( Robichaud)  Duprey . She was raised in Fitchburg .  Joanne attended Fitchburg schools and went on to earn her Associates Degree from Mount Wachusett Community College. She worked as an insurance clerk for Halstead Insurance Co. for over twenty years before her retirement several years ago. She had lived in Lunenburg, MA since 1980.

Joanne loved photography and was a member of the Shutterbug’s of New England , and the Fitchburg State University Alpha. She also was an active member of  Leominster Art and Gardner Art Association and the Material Girls Quilting Club. She enjoyed cooking and going camping with her family and friends.

 She is survived by her husband of thirty-eitght years, Richard M. Schreiner of Lunenburg, MA, her daughter Denise F. Gokey and husband Gary of Fitchburg, MA, her daughter Lori  Reinbold and husband Norman of Lunenburg, MA, sons, Michael S. Schreiner and wife Alice of Worcester, MA, Peter E. Schreiner and wife Dorothy of Fitchburg, MA six grandchildren, Kimberly, Steven, Matthew, Mark, Timothy, and Jonathan, great grandchildren, Hannah and Lexyanna. She also leaves her brothers, Robert Duprey and wife Betty of Greenville, SC, John Duprey and wife Tana of Jacksonville, Florida and James Duprey and wife  June of Westminster, MA and several nieces and nephews.

Her funeral will be held on Monday September 17,2018 with a Mass @ 10a.m. in Our Lady of The Lake Church 1400 Main St. Leominster, MA.  Interment will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery  Fitchburg, MA. Calling hours are Sunday  at the funeral home from 1 until 3p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to : Joslin Diabetes  Center, One Joslin Place, Boston, MA 02215.
