OBITUARY NOTICE
Acton: Julie Anne E. (Maloney) Tucker 85 of Acton passed away peacefully Friday January 19,2018 in the Inn at Robbin’s Brook in Acton, MA.
She was born July 15, 1932 in Greenwich, CT. the daughter of Michael J. and Elizabeth (Coffey) Maloney. She was raised in Greenwich,CT.
She along with her late husband David ,lived in Acton for over forty years. Julie was an active member of the Women’s Club of Acton and the Garden Club.
She worked over thirty years for IBM and retired many years ago. She was a member of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church in Acton.
She is survived by her sister-in-law Catherine Tucker of Fitchburg, MA. , sister-in-law Mary Toolin of Hingham, MA. ,her brother–in-law James P. Tucker Jr. of Windsor, CT. , her niece Kate Maloney of Little Rock , Arkansas, and several nieces and nephews from her husband David’s family. She was predeceased by her husband of 17 years David J. Tucker in 1995, a brother Joseph M. Maloney of Long Beach, CA., and sister Mary Jane Maloney of Greenwidh, CT.
Her funeral will be held on Thursday January 25,2018 with a Mass at 11a.m. in St. Bernard Parish @ St. Camillus De Lellis Church 333 Mechanic St. Fitchburg, MA. Interment will follow in St. Bernard’s Cemetery, Fitchburg. All friends and relatives are welcome to attend. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association , Massachusetts Chapter, 480 Pleasant St., Watertown, MA. 02472 or to Lewy Body Dementia Association, 912 Killian Hill Rd. S.W., Lilburn, GA. 30047.
