OBITUARY NOTICE
Lunenburg: Lucille Mary (Richard) Reilly, 92 of Lunenburg, MA passed away peacefully Saturday evening in The Highlands.
She was born June 12, 1926 in Fitchburg, MA , daughter of Joseph and Yvonne (St. Laurent) Richard and was raised in Fitchburg. She was a gold B graduate of St. Bernard’s Central Catholic High School Class of 1942. She worked in the customer service dept. for NEBS many years before her retirement.
Lucille enjoyed reading books, books about healthy cooking, attending flea markets, antiques, crocheting, dancing and music. She was also fluent in speaking French .
Lucille was thoughtful, generous and a good mother, friend, and a cheerful and social neighbor. She volunteered at many church fairs. Her favorite memories include the birth of her children, the French quarter travelers, visits with her sister Yvette, and Cleghorn Hill in Fitchburg.
She is survived by her children Debra M Reilly and husband James, Steven A. Reilly and wife Marie-Lise, Paul J. Reilly and wife Vicky, James B. Reilly, grandchildren Laura, Lindsey, Sean and P.J. Reilly, Niki and Tyler Heter a great grandson James, her brothers and sisters, Yvette Damien, Gerard “Jerry” Richard, Louise Richard , Philip Richard, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Donald W. Reilly, sisters’ Evelyn Doucette, Pauline Fusco and Rita Provencher.
Her funeral will be held on Wednesday November 7,2018 with a Mass @ 11a.m. in Our Lady of The Lake Church, 1400 Main St. Leominster,MA . Interment will follow in St. Bernard’s Cemetery, Fitchburg, MA . Calling hours are Wednesday morning at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until 10:30 a.m.
