OBITUARY  NOTICE

Fitchburg:  Mary Louise (Lily) Tyner passed away peacefully December 29, 2018 at Health Alliance Leominster Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was only 69 years of age, and was the daughter of the late Edward and Constance (Fitzgerald) Lily.

Mary was born May 24, 1949 in Fitchburg, MA, where she lived most of her life. She was primarily a stay at home mom, but had worked for a short time as a nurse’s aid.  Her greatest enjoyment in life came from caring for others, spending time with her family and cooking.  She was known most for her generosity, loving heart and her infectious smile that would light up any room.

She is survived by her daughters, Robin Tyner and husband Brian Slentz, Rhonda Yanes and husband Michael, Melissa Pilgreen, and grandchildren, Alyssa Garcia, Jeremiah Garcia, Sean Yanes, as well as her many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters, June St. Syr and Catherine Rice.

Her daughters would like to extend their gratitude for the care provided to their “Muma” by the staff at Fitchburg Healthcare.

Mary asked that instead of a Memorial service, her family gather to celebrate her life. There are no calling hours.
