NORMAND ALFRED HEBERT

MAY 7, 1947 – JULY 3, 2019

Normand Alfred Hebert of Leominster passed away unexpectedly on July 3, 2019 in the beauty and comfort of his White Mountains Camp.

Mr. Hebert was born on May 7, 1947 to proud parents Alfred and Lena (Carle) Hebert.  Normand came of age during the Postwar innocence of the 1950’s, and turbulence of the 1960’s.  He received his primary education at St. Francis of Assisi School, and in 1961 enrolled in Notre Dame High School, graduating in 1965.

A true American, Norm enlisted in the US Army Reserve in 1967 and was honorably discharged in 1973.  Norm was employed by Simonds Industries, where he was a loyal and revered employee for 45 dedicated years.

Norm was married to Mary (Chip) for many years, making a home in Ashburnham with their two daughters Tiffany and Jessica, whom he loved unconditionally, and were his sun and stars.

A man of many interests, Norm was a passionate fan of the New England Patriots and the Boston Red Sox.  The outdoors was his true calling.  Norm loved four-wheeling, fishing, and most of all hunting with his best friend, right-hand man, and beloved son-in-law Keith Abare.  Along side his many hobbies, Norm was a past President of the South End National Club in Fitchburg where he was a life-long member.

Norm is survived by his wife Mary (Chip) of Leominster, daughter Tiffany and son-in-law Keith Abare,   daughter Jessica Deloge, all of Fitchburg.  Norm was the proud and loving grandfather to five beautiful grandchildren whom he cherished, Raeanna, Felicia, Lainey, Jackson Deloge and Gabrielle Abare, all of Fitchburg.

Norm’s legacy and soul will live on forever in his White Mountains Camp.

A funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, July 17th at St. Josephs Church, 49 Woodland Street, Fitchburg.  A Celebration of Life will immediately follow at the South End National Club, 13 Market St, Fitchburg.
