Fitchburg- Aguedo S. Ramos, 81 of Fitchburg died Saturday, April 3, 2021 in the University of Mass Medical Center, Worcester. Aguedo was born February 6, 1940 in Yabucoa P.R. son of Monsserate Ramos and Justiniana Ramos Santiago.
He retired from First Plastics Co in 2007 and had worked for Newform Plastics and Century Plastics. He loved his granddaughters. He enjoyed fixing things and was known as a perfectionist. Aguedo enjoyed gardening and cooking.
Aguedo leaves his wife of 48 years, Linda L. (Marois) Ramos, two daughters; Maryann Ramos and Melody Ramos both of Fitchburg, his son; Albert Ramos and his wife Amy Marie of Westminster, two granddaughters; Isabel Thalia Whitney of Fitchburg and Lilly Marie Palmer of Westminster. He was one of 14 brothers and sisters of which one sister and two brothers are deceased. He also leaves many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services under the direction of Stephen Moorcroft will be held with a Mass at St. Joseph Church, 49 Woodland St at 10: am on Friday, April 9, 2021. Burial will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. Calling hours will be held Thursday evening, April 8, 2021 from 6 until8pm in the Lavery, Chartrand, Alario Funeral Home, 99 Summer St Fitchburg.
The family would like to thank Dr Robert Babineau Jr and his staff for all of their care and thank the Oncology team at Umass Health Alliance Center.
