Fitchburg : Amy E. Babineau (LaCoss), 91 , of Fitchburg, MA passed away Saturday, July 31,2021 at The Highlands after a brief illness.
She was born January 17, 1930 in Ashburnham, MA ,daughter of Francis and Matilda (Aube) LaCoss. Amy was mostly a stay at home mom to her four children. Amy had a kind and patient way in living her life. It was most important for her to make sure her family always stay close and stay interested in each other.
She had been a long time member of the former Immaculate Conception Church in Fitchburg, MA.
She is survived by her children, Diane M. Babineau ,with whom she lived, of Fitchburg, MA . James J. Babineau and wife Nancy of Rindge, NH, Brian A. Babineau and wife Jennifer of Leominster, MA , and Joel F. Babineau and wife Dawn also of Rindge, NH, her sister, Mary Hurley of Fitchburg, MA ,grandchildren, Jacob Babineau and wife Elise in South Carolina, and Jessica Woodward and husband Tyler in Pennsylvania, four great grandchildren, Piper Babineau, Landon Babineau, Oliver Woodward, and Caroline Woodward. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph in 2009 , and her siblings, Rita Herala, Vivian Grace, Alton LaCoss, Eugene LaCoss, Jack LaCoss and Mark LaCoss.
Funeral Services for Amy will be held on Friday, August 6,2021 with a service at the funeral home @ 11a.m. . A calling hour will be held prior to her service from 9:30 until 10: 45a.m. and all are welcome to attend. Interment will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery, Fitchburg, MA . In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, PO box 1000, Dept 142, Memphis ,TN 38101-9908.
