Barbara A. (Cheeseman) Fournier

Fitchburg: Barbara A. Fournier (Cheeseman) 86, of Fitchburg  went to be with the Lord on Wednesday , May 15,2024 .

Barbara was born in Burlington, VT on July 13, 1937, the daughter of  John and Dorothy Cheeseman. She was predeceased by her husband Maurice T. Fournier and her son Michael M. Fournier.

Barbara leaves two daughters, Cheryl Cox of Lunenburg, MA and Brenda Chavez and her husband Anthony of Fitchburg with whom she made her home. She also leaves three sisters, Shirley Chastain of Leominster, Theresa Doucette of Gardner, and Joyce Porter of New Jersey. She leaves her five grandchildren, Jonathan Chavez who lived with her helping with his grandmothers care, David Fournier of Gardner, Stephen Fournier of New Hampshire, and Elizabeth and Peter Cox of Lunenburg, four great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

There are no calling hours and burial will be at a time  to be announced.
