Brian Robert Cotton, 36, of Hudson, NH died on March 22, 2026as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Brian was born on December 13, 1989,in Westminster, MA. He graduated from Oakmont High School, class of 2008, and obtained a Human Services degree from Mt. Wachusett in Gardner, MA.
Brian spent his working career in Human Services, helping troubled youth and adults navigate through life’s difficulties. His most recent employment was with the Process Recovery Center in Nashua, NH where he worked as a clinician, chaired support meetings, and often spoke to groups of adults in recovery. He made a difference in many people’s lives.
He was very active in sports in his youth; primarily baseball and hockey. He had a passion for music and was a very talented guitarist and songwriter.
He is survived by his daughter, the love of his life, Jamie Rose Cotton, his parents Robert and Lauren Cotton of Westminster, his brothers Michael Cotton of Worcester, MA and Kevin Cotton and his wife Cristina and nephew Carter, of Agawam, MA.
He is also survived by his wife Brittney and her children Jacob Capone and Natasha Nadeau, whom Brian helped raise and loved very much.
He leaves his grandparents Charles Valera and Dorothy Vacca-Valera of Waltham, MA and a large extended family of uncles, aunts, and cousins, who will miss him dearly.
The family has established a UTMA custodial account for the benefit of Brian’s beloved daughter Jamie. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to this account to support her future. Donations may be made via check and directed as follows:

A Funeral Mass for Brian will be held on Wednesday, April 1,2026 @ 10a.m. in St. Edward The Confessor Church, 10 Church St. Westminster, MA . Interment will follow in St. Bernard Cemetery, Fitchburg MA .
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, March 31, 2026 at the funeral home from 4 until 7 p.m. . All friends and relatives are welcome to attend.
