Caelan T Doyle

Fitchburg:  Caelan Thomas Doyle, 21 of Fitchburg, MA passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at home surrounded by his family following a courageous battle with bone cancer.

Caelan was born in Leominster, MA on February 26, 2001 the son of Melissa (Terho) Doyle and Christian Doyle. He attended St. Anthony Elementary School and graduated from Sizer School in 2019. Upon high schoolgraduation he attended Mount Wachusett Community College. Most recently Caelan worked for Snyder Pools in Westminster, MA.

As a young child Caelan looked forward going to Camp Hawkeye in the summer months, first as a camper then later as a camp counselor. He spent 10 summers at Camp Hawkeye hiking the mountains of New Hampshire. Caelan also enjoyed fishing, archery, and many other activities during his time there.

Caelan looked forward to spending time with his family andfriends and was agreat enthusiast of theoutdoors. He spent his free time fishing, hiking, target shooting and kayaking. Caelan spent the last year of his life taking pleasure in these activities, as much as he possibly could,with his beloved girlfriend Lauren Hatch.

Caelan was incredibly sweet, compassionate, gentle, and a kind young man with big blue eyes and butterfly eyelashes that brightened up any room he entered. His time on this earth was far too short yet the joy, happiness, and laughter he brought to his family will be eternal.

Caelan is survived by his mother Melissa (Terho)Doyle, sister Allison Doyle, grandfather Otto Terho, grandmother Paula-Fleming Boule, aunt Sarah Terho,Godparents uncle Michael Terho&aunt Bethany Terho, uncle Christopher Terho, aunt Victoria Terho, uncle Jeffrey Terho, uncle Geoffrey Doyle, cousins Nicholas, Cody, Brandon, Benjamin, Cameron, Emma, Emily andMichael Terho.Caelan leaves behind a loving and loyal girlfriend and recently blessed wife Lauren Hatch and her parents Alan& Maria Hatch. Caelan and Lauren planned on having an official wedding upon completion of his treatment. Caelan was predeceased by his grandmother Denise Terho in March 2022.

Calling hours for Caelan are on Thursday, November 3rd from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Lavery, Chartrand  Alario funeral home. A Mass will be held on, Friday, November 4, 2022, at 10:30 a.m. in St. Anthony De Padua Church 84 Salem St. Fitchburg. Burial will be private.
