Obituary
Lunenburg: Carlo Alario ,82, of Lunenburg, MA passed away peacefully after a brief illness on Thursday November 17, 2022 at Health Alliance Leominster Hospital with his children at his side.
He was born in Fitchburg on December 4, 1939, the son of the late Joseph and Mary (Weir) Alario.He was a 1958 graduate of Notre Dame High School in Fitchburg. He graduated from the Massachusetts State Police Academy in 1967. Carlo served as police officer for the city of Fitchburg until 1974 when he retired due to a disability. He then owned and operated Mid-State SecurityServices for over twenty years, retiring in 2003. He was also the President of the Former Fitchburg and Leominster Towing Association. He was a longtime member of the NAFCA Chapter # 30 Squaw-No-Cook campingclub. He enjoyed traveling up and down the east coast with his family and his friends. He especially enjoyed his trips to Myrtle Beach S.C.
He is survived by his two daughters, Caryn Cote of Leominster, MA and Lori Pervier and her husband Timothy of Baldwinville, MA, his step-son, Edward (Teddy) Morse of Fitchburg, MA; seven grandchildren, Sherry Wyeth , Nicole Alario, Brandon and Caitlyn Cote, Joseph, Andrew and Jacob Pervier, five great grandchildren, Tori, Ana, Sophia, Wynter and Kaiden , his nephew Mark Wysk and his partner Ann,( with whom he especially enjoyed their Sunday visits) ; his first cousins, Dr. Anthony Alario and wife Susan of Rhode Island, and Robert Alario of Lunenburg, Ma. He was predeceased by his wife of 48 Years, Judith (Wysk) Alario, his step- daughter Beverly Whetson (Morse), his half- brother Clifford Ey, and half- sister Majorie Lucier.
A funeral home service will be held on Saturday November 26, 2022 @ 11:30 a.m. Calling hours will be prior to the service from 10 until 11:15a.m. . Interment will follow at St. Bernard’ s Cemetery. A luncheonwill follow at Fitchburg Knights of Columbus, all friends and relatives are welcome to attend.
