Constance (Babineau) Cournoyer

Fitchburg-Constance (Babineau) Cournoyer, 78 of Fitchburg died Friday March 5, 2021 in River Terrace Nursing and Rehabilitation Center Lancaster. She was born in Fitchburg October 12, 1942 daughter of Alfred and Dorothea (Spritzer) Babineau.

Connie was a graduate of Fitchburg High School and had been a member of St. Anthony’s Church. Before retiring she had worked for LeBlanc Insurance Co, now Choice Insurance for many years.

She enjoyed gardening and doing crafts

Her husband Paul Cournoyer died November 29, 2001. She leaves two daughter; Susan and her husband Don Tapply of Fitchburg and Donna  and her husband Dan Boudreau of Westminster, one son; Jeffrey and his wife Michelle Cournoyer of Westminster, four brothers; Alfred and his wife Anita of Boise Idaho, Ronald and his wife Linda Babineau of Fitchburg, David and his husband Patrick Babineau of Fitchburg and Kenneth and his wife Cindy Babineau of Rutland Ma, two sisters; Dianne Babineau of Leominster and Kathie and her husband Ronald Deschamps of Fitchburg, six grandchildren and one great grandson, nieces and nephews.

 Funeral services under the direction of Stephen Moorcroft will be held with a Funeral Mass on Wednesday morning, March 10, 2021 at 11:00am in St Anthony of Padua Church, 84 Salem St Fitchburg. Burial will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery Fitchburg. A calling hour will be held in Lavery, Chartrand, Alario Funeral Home, 99 Summer St Fitchburg MA Wednesday morning from 9:30 until 10:30.
