Cynthia A. (DiConza) Guilmette, 67, of Ashby passed away peacefully at home on January 19, 2023.
She was born in Leominster on December 14, 1955. She spent her career working in the paper mill industry at as a customer service representative at James River, Otis Specialty Paper, Hollingsworth & Vose until her retirement in 2019.
She was an avid sports fan. She enjoyed her Sundays with her husband watching NASCAR, PGA golf, New England Patriots, Boston Red Sox & Celtics. Nothing made her happier than traveling with David to Maui, Hawaii & Race Point Beach on Cape Cod. She enjoyed driving her two-seater sport car in the warmer months. In her spare time, she would sunbathe in her beautiful yard or shop at every mall.
Cindi leaves her husband of 42 years, David G. Guilmette of Ashby. She is survived by her sisters, Jo Ann DiConza of Fitchburg & her companion, Gregory Watson; Lori (DiConza) Croteau & her husband, Daryn; many nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by her father, Joseph A. DiConza & Phyllis L. (Kullmann) DiConza.
The funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, January 26th at St. Anthony di Padua Church, 84 Salem Street, Fitchburg at 11AM. Burial will follow at St. Bernard’s Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
