Mom graduated from Fitchburg High School, class of 1945.  She loved organizing the class reunions to bring everyone together.  She retired from General Electric with 29 years of service and was a member of the G.E. Quarter Century Club. Doris was a member of the Fitchburg Senior Center and how she loved going on their trips to wherever the bus would take them. Mom volunteered for the Red Cross and many of their blood drives, made countless hats and mittens for the local mitten trees, the cancer centers at Burbank Hospital and Lowell General and for those in need.  Mom loved being an election poll worker for Ward 1 as she could visit with all the neighbors and catch up on their lives.

THANK YOU, Mom!... for making every holiday special, Sunday dinners, boiled dinners at Willard Brook, camping in North Conway or at The Cape, hours of babysitting, bunny cakes, cookie monster cakes, never forgetting to celebrate a birthday, for always supporting us and being the best cheerleader and wanting the best for all of us.  Thank you for all the memories you have given us, your love will always be in our hearts.  Love you forever…
