                                              Obituary Notice

         Fitchburg:  Duane M. Michaud , 66 of Fitchburg, MA passed away peacefully at his residence on Monday August 21,2023 with his family at his side. 

Duane was born in Shirley, MA on November 20,1956 the son of the late Lorraine (White) Michaud and Harold Michaud. He lived in Fitchburg all of his life and was a graduate of Fitchburg High School Class of 1976.

Duane worked  at St. Bernard Cemetery for over 25 years and retired from there in 2014 due to his illness.

He is survived  by his wife of 42 years, Ann M. (McDonald) Michaud, his children, Gregory, Matthew, and Melissa Michaud, five grandchildren,   one great grandson, his sister Diana Escabi and husband Dan of Fitchburg, MA, his brother Drue Michaud of North Carolina, nieces, Sarah Monaco of Shirley, MA and Leslie Smith of Florida, nephews, Kyle Smith, Joshua and Justin Michaud. Duane also leaves his closest and great friends, Raymond Spagnuolo and David McDonald.

A private graveside service for Duane will be held in St. Bernard Cemetery on August 30,2023 . In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to St. Anna’s Church, 199 Lancaster St. Leominster, MA 01453
