Edwin H Holt IV

                               Edwin H. Holt IV, age 81, formerly of Fitchburg, MA and Barefoot Bay, FL, passed away January 31, 2022. He was born in Fitchburg, MA the son of Edwin H. Holt III and Livona (Irvine) Holt. He was a 1958 graduate of Fitchburg High School.
After High School he became a typesetter for 28 years first at Colonial Press and then Modern Printing. He also worked 15 years in Fitchburg City Hall in the Treasurer's office. He enjoyed living in Barefoot Bay, FL for 19 years. His hobbies included fishing, bocce, shuffleboard, softball, cards, playing and coaching ice hockey. He was a proud member of the Italian American Club and also loved going to lunch the "Romeos."
He leaves his wife of 45 years Rosalie (Romano) Holt, son Edwin H. Holt V; daughters Lori Diaz, husband Alfredo; Traci Weaver, husband Stephen; Michelle Freeman, husband Gary; Faithann Soucier, husband James; stepchildren Lucille Simotes, husband Anthony; Raymond Bedard and Joseph Bedard; nephew David Cutting; brother-in-law Michael Romano; sisters-in-law Mary McKinney; Jeanne Kershaw, husband Larry; many grandchildren and great grandchildren, nephews and nieces whom he adored.
Mass was held at St. Luke's Catholic Church, Micco FL. A Calling hour will be held Friday June  24, 2022 from 10 until 11am in the Lavery, Chartrand, Alario  Funeral Home 99 Summer St Fitchburg MA. Private burial will be in St. Bernard Cemetery Fitchburg.
