                                             OBITUARY  NOTICE

Fitchburg:  Eileen J. Burlton, 66 of Fitchburg, MA passed away peacefully in Leominster Hospital on August 27,2019.

Eileen was born April 6, 1953 in Fitchburg, MA, daughter of Ralph and Mary (Hickey) Burlton, and lived all of her life in Fitchburg. She was a graduate of Fitchburg High School Class of 1971.

Eileen attended and graduated from the former Burbank School of Nursing in 1975. She worked as a Registered Nurse at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Brighton for ten years until 1987.

She was a longtime member of the Y.M.C.A. in Fitchburg, MA. While a resident at the Sundail she became very active and served on the building committee and was also active at the Senior Center in Fitchburg. She was a member of St. Bernard Parish.

She leaves her brother James E. Burlton of Largo ,Florida, sisters Martha Daneault of Shelton, CT, and Patricia Drolette and husband Kenneth of Taunton, MA, one niece and four nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Joanne Brazell.

Her funeral will be held on Friday September 13,2019, with a Mass @ 10a.m. in St. Bernard Parish @ St. Camillus De Lellis Church 333 Mechanic St. Fitchburg. Interment will follow in St. Bernard’s Cemetery. All friends and relatives are welcome to attend. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers , please remember Eileen in your own way.
