                                   Obituary Notice

Lowell :  Fleur-Ange Gelinas (Lethiecq),98 of Lowell, MA and a former resident of Fitchburg, MA passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 18,2024 in D’youville Senior Care Center in Lowell MA with her family at her side.

Flo was born in Lowell, MA on February 24,1926. She was the daughter of Adrien and Rose (Beaumier) Lethiecq. She lived many years in Fitchburg, MA with her husband Roland Gelinas who passed away in 2007. She moved to Lowell to be closer to her family members, several years ago.

Flo had a great love of sewing and was quite a seamstress. She also enjoyed crochet, cribbage, hearts, ball room dancing, and a good highball. In her younger days she worked at several shoe factories in Lowell.

 Flo will be greatly missed by her niece Michelle who had been her care giver for the past few years. I hope you get the best seat on the bus, Flo!

She had many nieces and nephews, Michelle Cooper,Lois Emond, Gail Rudy, Eric Brunelle, Norman Brunelle, DorothyCorey (deceased), Rose Marie Sweet,John and Edward Lemire (both deceased), Pearl Grant (deceased).Flo had a special place in her heart for John’s wife Donna Lemire who loved and helped Flo over the years, John Gardini, Darlene Robinson, Donna Finochiaro, David Gardini (deceased), and Denise Moody. She was the loving Godmother and aunt of Dorothy Corey now deceased, and a wonderful relationship with Dorothy’s daughter Donna Lessieur and Donna’s husband Al Lessieur now deceased.

She was predeceased by all of her siblings, Simone Brunelle, Yvette Lemire, Lorraine Shannon, and Robert  “Bucky”Lethiecq.

In keeping with Flo’s wishes , there are no planned funeral services or calling hours. She will be interred in St. Bernard Cemetery in Fitchburg, MA next to her husband Roland as that was her wish.
