Gary G. Gelinas

Fitchburg:  Gary G. Gelinas 85,of Fitchburg, MA passed away peacefully in Health Alliance Leominster Hospital on July 9,2023.

Gary was born in Fitchburg, MA on September 30, 1937 . He was the son of  Roland and Mildred (Griffin) Gelinas and lived in Fitchburg  most of his life. He attended fitchburg schools and was a graduate for St. Bernard's Central Catholic High School Class of 1957.  In July of 1957 Gary enlisted in the U.S.Air force and served  active duty  towards the end of  the Korean Conflict. He was honorably discharged in 1961.

Gary went on to work as a tool cutter and grinder for Micro Tool which later became known as Demar Machine. He worked there for 27 years and retired in 2007.

Gary was a real car enthusiast, and he along his wife Joanne were longtime members of the Mid State Antique Car Club. . He was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church.

He is survived by his wife Joanne (Goguen) Gelinas  and his brother s Bradley and Roger Gelinas along with his nephew, niece. and his many friends he made .

Services with Military Honors for Gary will be held on Tuesday July 25,2023 @ 11a.m. in the Pieta' Chapel in St. Joseph's Cemetery 486 Clarendon St. Fitchburg, MA
