                                                        Obituary

Gardner:   George W. Vallee Jr., 90 of Gardner, MA and a former resident of Leominster, MA passed away peacefully on May 25, 2022 in Wachusett Manor Nursing  Home, Gardner, MA.

George was born in Fitchburg, MA February 8, 1932 the son of George W Vallee Sr. and Lucy  (LeBlanc) Vallee.  He lived in Leominster, MA many years before moving to Florida several years ago with his wife Nina (Cavanaugh) Vallee.

George was a Navy veteran of the Korean War and served on the USS Briareus . He was honorably discharged in 1956.  George worked as a photo Lithographer for most of his working career.  He retired several years ago.

George loved playing golf, going fishing, watching the Red Sox, playing cards with family and friends and an occasional trip to the casino. He loved going on cruises with his wife Nina and their time spent in Biddeford, Maine with family and friends digging for clams, playing games and having campfires on the beach. George was a hard  worker , a wonderful provider, loving son, brother, husband ,father, and step-father .

He is survived by his wife of 39 years Nina (Cavanaugh) Vallee, a son Steven Vallee and wife Gisele, his daughter Deborah Rivard and husband Steven, sisters Elaine Membrino and husband Bob, and Sylvia Moussette and husband Paul ,a step-son Theodore  Bissonnette, step-daughter Debra Cleary and husband Thomas, step-daughter Patricia Loya and husband Victor, step-daughter Rachel Richard and husband Francis, many grandchildren and great grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son Scott Vallee and a sister Elizabeth Rivard

 Funeral services for George will be held on Tuesday June 7,2022 with a service with Military Honors in Massachusetts Veteran’s Cemetery, 111 Glenallen Rd. (RT. 202), Winchendon, MA @ 1p.m.  .
