Jerome L. Rodger JR.

Jerome L. Rodger JR. “Jay” passed away unexpectedly in his home on Sunday May 17, 2020. He was 50 years old.

Jay was born on October 11, 1969 in Fitchburg, Ma. The son of Jerome L. Rodger SR. and Claire R. (Beaulieu) Rodger. A 1988 graduate of Montachusett Regional Technical School in Automotive. Jay worked for the Ford industry for 20+ plus years as a parts counter representative. He was highly skilled in his career. He was capable of recalling hundreds of parts numbers and codes. He had a vast knowledge of the car industry and all others would rely on him to obtain the orders they needed. He was the go to guy. He was a devoted father and a loyal friend. He was an avid porch sitter, enjoyed the warmth of the great outdoors, a devoted Bruins, Patriots fan and attended many NASCAR races with his daughter. He will be greatly missed.

He is remembered by his children Mallarie J. Hume and her husband Nicholas R. Hume of Westminster, Ma, Courtney R. Rodger of Gardner, MA and Shawn M. Rodger of Myrtle Beach, SC. As well as Jay’s sister and brother, Roberta M. Rodger and John P. Rodger both of Fitchburg, MA. He is loved by countless cousins, aunts and leaves 3 grandchildren.
