John T DeBettencourt

Fitchburg:  John T. DeBettencourt 59, of Fitchburg passed away at his residence on August 4,2021. John was born in Tewksbury, MA September 15, 1961 the son of the late Robert Sr. and Rita (Leger) DeBettencourt. He lived in Fitchburg and Lunenburg, MA most of his life. John worked in custodial services at the former Burbank Hospital and more recently for J-Von Plastics. He was a graduate of Lunenburg High School Class of 1981. He enjoyed  weight lifting and walking around town greeting people.

He is survived by his brothers, Keith A DeBettencourt, Robert DeBettencourt Jr. Michael A. DeBettencourt, Mark S. DeBettencourt, and Timothy J. DeBettencourt and his sister Debra  Forcier and her husband Charlie along with many nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his brother Brian H. DeBettencourt.

A Graveside service will be held in West Cemetery, Ashby , MA on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at 12 noon.
