John Sneddon

John lost his long battle with COVID on Thursday, December 2, 2021 at the age of 69 of Leominster MA, with his family by his bedside.He fought long and hard with his battle with Alpha 1 and survived a liver transplant in 2017. With this family constantly with him every step of the way.

Hewas born in Hudson, MA. John is from a small close-knit family. He survived by his wife Mary Folmer- Sneddon (Leominster) of 36yrs married 41yrs as a couple. His son Timothy J.Sneddon (N. Grafton), daughter Alyce Sneddon (Leominster) and grandson Max Sneddon. His sisters Joann Machado (Leominster) and Marion Collins (Hudson), leaving many nieces and nephews.He predeceased his mother and father Florence and John Sneddon Jr. Also, his brother Danny Sneddon of Hudson MA.

John is a veteran of the Korean War. He was a E-5, a helicopter mechanic/driver. He had many metals and honors including Sharpshooter, National Defense Service,Expeditionary metal. He was a sales man for many auto/furniture sales in Worcester County. John is pictured as a family man and jokester, anything to put a smile on your face. Home owner of 29yrs and a Mr. Fix-it. John enjoyed going to play cribbage at the Leominster and Fitchburg Senior Centers and the movies. All of his loved ones will live their lives with his memory in their hearts.

Services with Military Honors are on Monday December 20,2021 in Massachusetts Veterans Cemetery, 111 Glenallen St. Winchendon @ 10a.m. All are welcome to attend
