                                                        Obituary

Lunenburg:  Josephine M. Bouvier (Waskewicz), 97 of Lunenburg, MA passed away peacefully on November 23,2021 in UMass –Leominster Hospital with her family at her side.

 She was born  in Fitchburg, MA, December 20 1923 the daughter of Alexander and Domicela (Kamblewicz) Waskewicz and was raised in Fitchburg. She was a graduate of St. Bernard Central Catholic High School. Josephine worked many years as an inspector and in shipping for the Eussey Press Printing Company in Leominster, MA before her retirement many years ago.

She was a long-time resident of Lunenburg, MA for 70 years. Her husband Francis  G. Bouvier passed away in 1987  and was also predeceased by her daughter Kathleen Thomas (Bouvier ) and son Robert F. Bouvier, 3 brothers, Alex, Walter, and Joseph Waskewicz and 2 sisters, Helen (Nellie) Mancuso and Anna Descarreaux. She is survived by her daughter, Susan Berger and husband David of Ashburnham , MA and many grandchildren, great grandchildren , and great great grandchildren.

 Her funeral will be held on Monday December 6,2021 with a Mass @ 10a.m. in St. Boniface Church, 817 Massachusetts Ave. Lunenburg, MA. Inurnment will follow in St. Bernard Cemetery, Fitchburg, MA . All friends and relatives are welcome to attend and should meet at the church on Monday. There are no calling hours.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to : Lunenburg Firefighters Association 655 Massachusetts Ave. , Lunenburg, MA 01462.
