Fitchburg:  Joyce H. Aucoin (Kennedy) 69 of Fitchburg, MA passed away peacefully January 16,2022 in Health Alliance Leominster Hospital with her family at her side.

Joyce was born February 16, 1952 in Fitchburg, MA , daughter of  Andrew and  Lorraine (Duval) Kennedy lived her life in Fitchburg, and  worked her whole life striving to make her neighborhood, as well as the entire city better.

A devout Roman Catholic, Joyce spent most of her time serving our Lord by regularly attending the Perpetual Adoration Chapel at St. Bernard Parish in St. Camillus de Lellis Church and tirelessly working to bring about the end to the practice of abortion.

Joyce worked  as a case manager for Devereau Theraputics / Foster Care for children for many years.

She is survived by the love of her life, her husband of 49 years, Raymond A. Aucoin, her son Raymond  A. Aucoin II, and step –son David, sisters Linda Stewart and Donna Kennedy and many nieces and nephews.

Her smile, warmth, and devotion will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

Her funeral will be held on Tuesday January25,2022 with a Mass of Christian burial in St. Bernard Parish @ St. Camillus de Lellis Church 333 Mechanic St. Fitchburg, MA @ 10 a.m. . Calling hours at the funeral home are Monday evening from 5 until 7p.m. . All are welcome to attend. Burial will be in St. Bernard Cemetery, Fitchburg, MA following the Mass. A Mask is suggested to attend at the request of her family.
