Fitchburg: On April 8,2023, Judy Ledford passed away. Judy grew up in Lunenburg & was a long time resident of Fitchburg.
Judy leaves behind her daughter Melanie Ledford, her grandchildren Arieanna Villanueva, Ariyan roman, Mariha Roman and Deja Kendrick as well as two great grandchildren, Aceliah Villanueva and Luna Weaver. Additionally, Judy leaves behind her sister Annette Griffith and husband Fred Griffith, sister Sandra Ricci, brother William Antoniac and wife Valerie Antoniac , five nieces, two nephews, and many great nieces and nephews.
Judy had a career at Digital Equipment Corp. for over 20 years where she was an instructor. Judy was also a teacher at many of the local schools for years. Judy retired from the Winchendon School District. Judy spent most of her days volunteering in community. She was an active member of the British-American Club where she was known as the” Ticket Lady” for always being the top seller. She was also a member of the Knights of Columbus. Judy enjoyed over 30 years of summer in Maine. Judy loved having fun in the sun at the beach, it was her favorite place to be.
While Judy was her, she made sure to live in the moment. Judy live her life to the fullest, from traveling the world to watching her favorite Harry Potter movies on the couch. She will always be known for having such a large presence in any room she walked into. Judy , you are so loved and will be missed tremendously.
A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, April 13,2023 @ 11 a.m. in Our Lady of The Lake Church, 1400 Main St. Leominster, MA . A calling hour will be held at the church Thursday morning from 10a.m. until the time of the Mass. All are welcome to attend.
