June (Vaillancourt) Roy

Fitchburg: June Roy 69, passed away on Tuesday, August 1,2023 in U Mass Memorial Healthcare University Campus, worcester, MA due to complications from kidney failure

June was born on april 13,1954 in Fitchburg, MA the daughter of Earl Sr. and Kathrine ( Mancuso) Vaillancourt. She was raised on Canton St. in Fitchburg and was a member of St. Anthony's And St. Cecilia's Parishes. She was a graduate of Fitchburg High School Class of 1972

June is survived by her husband Gary, her son Jamie and his wife Jackie, her granddaughter Maple Mae, her sister Kathy and husband Tom cordio, her brothers, Kenneth, Steve, and wife Dee, and Earl Jr. and his wife  Jackie Vaillancourt. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

June was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who touched  the souls of all who met her. She had a very kind heart and treated everyone she met as family. Whether at cleghorn Oil where she worked for 29 years, at Super Fans Pizzeria, her son's restaurant, or friends of the family, everyone who June met got her  best self and felt her love.

June was also and avid dog lover and leaves behind her two fur girls, Dusty Rose, and Scarlet Olivia. Anyone  who had June on Social media knows how much she loved those girls.

One year ago, June's last dream in life came true when she found out she was going to be a grandmother. Her world lit up and she immediately showered her son and his wife with love and things for her future granddaughter, Maple Mae. Maple  was born on March 17,2023 shortly before June was hospitalized in late March. Even though June was only able to see Maple a few times, the love June has for that beautiful girl was pure and full, and her family will carry that love forever.

The family would like to give a very special thanks to the teams at both UMass Memorial  Hospital in Leominster and UMass University Campus worcester for all of the outstanding care they gave to June over the past four and a half months. There hard work and dedication is unmatched..

Calling hours for June are Friday evening from 6 until 8 p.m at the funeral home. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday August 5,2023  @ 10a.m. in St. Anthony De Padua church 84 Salem St. Fitchburg followed by Interment in St. Joseph's Cemetery. all are welcome to attend. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the National Kidney Foundation or the American Diabetes fFundation.
