Keith F. Bergeron, Army veteran and lifetime resident of Fitchburg, passed away Monday February 2, 2026. Keith was born May 18, 1957, son to the late Ernest Bergeron and Norma (Bergeron) Pyles. He is survived by his second wife, Sheila Bergeron, also of Fitchburg. He leaves behind his daughter Bonita (Bergeron) Riley, her husband Greg and their children Kimberly and Jordan; his daughter Heidi Bergeron, her partner Jamie Green and their children Destiny and Ty and grandson Orion; and his daughter Lacey (Bergeron) Clarke and her husband Chad.
He is survived by his siblings, Linda (Bergeron) Eastis and her husband Steve of Lake Worth, FL; Brian Bergeron and his wife Darlene of Templeton, MA; John Bergeron and his wife Ruth of Aurora, CO; Celeste (Bergeron) Cahill of Boca Raton, FL; and Serena (Bergeron) Lyons of Nashua, NH; along with many nieces and nephews.
He attended Fitchburg High School, later did a short term in the U.S. Army and workedfor Kelley Wood Products and CatamountManufacturing.
Keith enjoyed simple pleasures such as fishing, listening to music, and spending time where life felt unhurried. His life was not marked by public achievements but by ordinary moments, imperfect choices, and personal connections. He will be remembered by those who knew him not for what he did, but for who he was- a familiar and genuine part of their lives.
He will be missed.
A privatefamily service will be held in the Spring.
