                                              Obituary Notice

Fitchburg:  Lorraine T. Michaud (White), 89 of Fitchburg, MA passed away peacefully at her residence on Sunday February 12,2023 surrounded by her loving family.

She was born September 27,1933 in Fitchburg, MA the daughter of Joseph A. White and Louise White (DeGagne). She lived all of her life in Fitchburg.

Lorraine worked as a department manager at the former Rich’s Dept. Store in Fitchburg for many years before her retirement. She enjoyed traveling, going on cruises and dancing with her husband Harold. She loved lunch dates with friends and going to the movies. Most important to Lorraine was spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Holiday’s  were always extra special at her home, and loved her New England Patriots and watched all of the games with great excitement.

She leaves her children ,Duane M. Michaud and wife Ann, Drue M. Michaud and Diana L . Escabi and husband Daniel, grandchildren, Kyle Sarah, Lelsie, Joshua, Justin Gregory, Matthew, and Melissa great grandchildren, Rhylee, Mason Joshua, and Elsie and a great great grandson Savion and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her  husband ,Harold J. Michaud in 2016.

A funeral service for Lorraine will be held on Friday , February 24,2023 @ 10a.m. in Massachusetts Veterans’s Cemetery 111 Glenallen St. , Winchendon, MA. . There are no calling hours.
