Lucy A. (Lozeau) Sheldon

Lucy Sheldon (Lozeau)-89 of Fitchburg, unexpectedly passed away at home on December 27th, 2023. 

Lucy was born March 14,1934 in Fitchburg,MA  and lived in Fitchburg all of her life .

Lucy enjoyed cooking, bowling, and spending time with her family. She graduated from Fitchburg High school and retired from Fitchburg State University. 

Lucy was predeceased by her father and mother Wilfred and Josephine Lozeau (Beaulieu), son Paul Sheldon, brothers Raymond, Alfred, and David Lozeau, and ex-husband Leslie Sheldon. 

Lucy was survived by her daughter Deborah Sheldon of Ashburnham, grandchildren Lukas Sheldon, Christine Collins and her companion Jason Ostiguy, Joseph Collins and wife Melissa all of Winchendon, and Tammy Collins of Lunenburg. Two sister in laws Annie Lozeau of Leominster, and Jeannette Lozeau of South Carolina. She leaves behind 13 great grandchildren, and 2 great great granddaughters, along with several nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind companion Stevie Hastings. 

Services will be held on January 5th, 2024 at 10am at Lavery Chartrand Alario  99 Summer Street in Fitchburg, followed by burial at St. Denis Cemetery, 81 Kelton Rd. Ashburnham.  All are welcome to attend.There will be a get together at the Bresnahan Community Center 150 Center St. Ashburnham following the services.
