Marcin Jean Obituary

Shirley: Marcin J. Jean 72, of Shirley, MA passed away in St. Vincent Hospital, Worcester, MA on April 28, 2022.

Marcin was born September 16, 1949, in Shirley, MA the son of Joachim and Sophie (Doiron) Jean, and he was the youngest of eight children He was raised in Shirley and attended Ayer High School.

Marcin was a certified Toyota mechanic at Fitchburg Toyota for a number of years and later was a self-employed Pollution Control Engineer. He had two great loves, fishing and beloved Boston Red Sox.

He is survived by his children, Rachel Jean, Dakotah Jean, and Marcin- Jochim Jean II, six grandchildren two great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a daughter Nikki Jean, sisters Connie Jean, Lorraine May, Annette Patterson, Rosamond Spaulding, Nora Bourgeois, and brothers Paul and Hadley Jean.
