Marjorie Rose (Kezele) Brouillet

Marjorie Rose (Kezele) Brouillet passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, May 31st 2026 surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Connecticut on August 3rd 1942 to the late Sophie (Stronski) Kezele and Frank Kezele, Marge lived a vibrant and storied life focused around her family and her faith. She embraced every facet of her existence to the fullest.

A beloved Daughter, Wife, Sister, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother and friend, she is survived by her loving husband Joseph Brouillet, her children Christopher (Jen), Barbara (Todd), Catherine, David, Jeffrey (Lyn) and Joseph (Kesha) 14 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren as well as by her sisters Sherry Schadeck and Debbie Pedigo and many nieces, nephews, their children and extended family and friends.

Marge was predeceased by her children Stephen and Peter, her sister Kathleen Greco and brother James Kezele.

Marge and Joe settled down in Fitchburg in a quiet country house and found a home at St. Camillus Church and raised the family there.  Marge shared her Faith and Love teaching CCD for over 30 years. Helping as a Lector and Extraordinary Eucharistic Minister for many years until her health didn’t allow it anymore.  She supported the family as they tried to fill her shoes to share their Faith.

Her life was led by love, curiosity, and a deep appreciation for the beauty of the world around her. As the daughter of a Navy serviceman, she moved throughout the country during her childhood.She spent some of her childhood in Hawaii before graduating from Herbert Hoover High School in San Diego, CA. Those early years helped shape her adventurous spirit and her lifelong love of learning, travel, and discovery.

A two-time cancer survivor, she faced life’s challenges with remarkable strength, grace, and resiliency. She traveled the world and experienced many beautiful places including Japan, Egypt, a lot of Europe and especially her family’s (Kezele) farm located in Croatia. Her connection to family, heritage, and the natural world remained close to her heart throughout her life.

Marge had a special gift for making the world around her more beautiful. She was happy with dirt on her hands and the sun on her back pouring her heart into cultivating and curating her garden. She thoroughly enjoyed identifying and watching the birds that visited her so frequently.She joyfully shared those passions with her family and friends.

After working for BellSouth as a switchboard operator, she dedicated herself to raising her family and creating a warm and loving home. She found joy in baking, reading, decorating and sharing her imagination and Faith with those around her. Her creativity was unmatched, and she opened her family’s hearts and minds to new ways of seeing the world.

Marge will be remembered for her strength, warmth, creativity, patience, and the love she gave so freely. Her influence lives on forever in the family she cherished, the beauty she created, and the countless memories she leaves behind.

Her funeral will be held on Monday June 8,2026 with a Mass at 10:00 a.m. in St. Bernard Parish @ St. Camillus de Lellis Church, 333 Mechanic St. Fitchburg, MA. Interment will follow in St. Bernard Cemetery.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday evening, June 7,2026 at the funeral home from 6:30p.m. until 8:30p.m. All are welcome to attend.
