Martin Michael McNamara, 72, of Fitchburg, MA passed away peacefully at The Highlands on May 31,2026

He was born November 30.1953 in Fitchburg, Ma the son of Michael J. McNamara and Margaret E. Tarbell

He was a loving brother, Uncle,and friend to many. Martin enjoyed fishing, hiking and camping in his younger years.

He worked as a Social Councilor at Clinton Hospital retiring serval years ago. In his retirement he loved to paint, carve figurines and canes.

He leaves his two sisters, Maureen McNamara, and Kathleen Priest, 2 brothers, Patrick and Brendan, four nieces, Jessica, Jena, Amanda, and Ina, and one nephew, Joshua.

He also leaves many great nieces and nephews.

he will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Calling hours are Sunday, June 7,2026 at the funeral home from 2 until 4p.m.with a service beginning at 4p.m.

A celebration of life will be held afterwards at the British American Club, 1 Simonds Rd. Fitchburg, MA
