Michael F Xarras

                                              Obituary Notice

Winchendon:  Michael F. Xarras, 80 of Winchendon, MA passed away on June 4 ,2026 at his residence.

He was born June 6,1945  in Boston, MA the son of Forteos and Antigone (Geas) Xarras and was raised in Lunenburg, MA and was a graduate of Lunenburg High School, Class of 1963. He went on to attend Fitchburg State College. Mike was a correctional officer at NCCI in Gardner, MA

He received his series 7 license and worked  for Waddell and Reed. He also served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and was stationed in Germany.

He was in special forces with recognizance camera’s and was honorably discharged.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Karen (Moore) Xarras, his son Gerry Mucciaccio of Foxborough, MA and his daughter, Corinne Adkins and her husband, Daniel of Myrtle Beach , SC his siblings, Joanne Xarras of Masa, AZ, Stephen Xarras and wife Sharon of Lunenburg, MA, James Xarras and wife Laurie of Lunenburg, MA along with many nieces ,nephews and cousins. He also leaves six grandchildren,, Maximilian (Max)Doak of Framingham, MA, Zachariah (Zach) Adkins, Micah Adkins, Gabriella (Gabi) Adkins, Calista (Cali) Adkins and Ariana (Ari) Adkins of Myrtle Beach, SC.

He was predeceased by his son, Christopher Michael Xarras in 1999 and sister Katherine Stone Xarras in 2024

Services for Michael are as follows: Calling hours at the funeral home are Thursday , June 11,2026 from 2 until 4 p.m. followed by a prayer and blessing to begin at 4 p.m. All are welcome to attend.
