OBITUARY NOTICE
Winchendon; Nathan A. Doe 35 of Winchendon, MA passed away on Saturday February 15, 2020.
Nathan was born in Fitchburg, MA and was raised in Lunenburg, MA, where he attended and graduated with High Honors from Lunenburg High School Class of 2001. In 2004 he enlisted in the U.S. Navy. He became an Airframes Technician for the Strike Fighter Squadron 105,known as the Gunslingers. He served on the USS Truman aircraft carrier until 2008 when he was honorably discharged. While serving in the Navy he received the Navy Good Conduct Award, the National Defense Service Medal, the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal , and the Sea Service Deployment Ribbon. He has resided in Winchendon, MA for the past 10 years. He worked at Garlock Printing and Converting in Gardner, MA for 6 years as a maintenance technician. He enjoyed archery when he was younger. His favorite past time has been playing pool and darts at the Red Onion in Baldwinville with his girlfriend, Tamara Bisson. When at home, he was often seen playing with his son Silas Doe. Together they would watch You Tube or Silas would watch his dad play video games. Nathan enjoyed watching horror, thriller or comedy movies.
Nathan is survived by his girlfriend, Tamara Bisson and their son Silas of Winchendon, MA, his mother Cathy (Rouleau) Doe of Topsfield, MA, father Mark W. Doe of Lunenburg, MA,, his brother Jesse Doe of Leominster, MA, his sister Crystal Capsalis of Tolland CT, maternal grandparents, Roland and Margaret "Peggy" Rouleau of Fitchburg, MA, a niece Shyann and nephew Logan of Winchendon, MA, nephew Carter of Tolland CT, and several aunts , uncles and cousins
Services for Nate will be held on Monday March 2,2020 with a service @ 1p.m. followed by full Military Honors in Massachusetts Veterans Cemetery, 111 Glenallen St., Winchendon. All relatives and friends are welcome to attend and should arrive ten minutes prior. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758517 Topeka, Kansas, 66675-8517. Upon completion of all services his family invites you join them in a celebration of Nathan's life at the Eastwood Club in Fitchburg, MA beginning at 2:30 p.m.
