Nic was full of life,a loving , fun, comical and loyal person who believed above all else in the importance of family. Nic played in local youth sports, basketball, baseball, and street hockey. When Nic entered Fitchburg High School he played football, as that was his passion for four years. He was very  proud to be on the Red Raiders Team  that went 4-0 in the Thanksgiving Day  game historic rivalry. This gave him the” bragging rights”  with his cousins, who preceded him as FHS football players.

For many years Nic devoted his time as score keeper at every level of Biddy League Basketball. Nic was the first one to volunteer for all he was asked to do. One of the most special times was when he brother, Craig, participated in the Special Olympic Events. Nic was there to volunteer in any way he could, with pride and joy and support(cheering loud and clear) for his “best buddy”.

Nic was instrumental, along with his parents in the founding of Craig’s WayCraig’s Way , a non-profit organization in his brother’s memory. Craig’s Way raises money through fundraisers. The various donations have been given to Seniors at local high schools, the Special Olympics organization, youth sports within the communities, families in need, the Jimmy Fund,Special Surfers of Maine, compassionate Friends, and other organizations as the needs arise.

Nic was honored to hold the position of Vice President of Craig’s Way in high esteem. In memory of Nic, this position will no longer exist. Craig’s Way will now be known as Nic and Craig’s Way.  Nic spent his summers at Yankee land Campground in Kennebunk, Maine. Nic enjoyed and looked forward to his time there, where he had many lifelong friends -old and young. He enjoyed movies, especially horror films. He could tell you every line in many of these movies. This made him a tough competitor in game of Trivia. Nic’s love of various music could be found on his playlist. He will be truly missed by all who knew him.
