Nina Colleen (Cavanaugh) Vallee

Nina Colleen Vallee, 91, of Leominster, MA, passed away quietly in her sleep on Monday, December 16, 2024.

Nina was born on Nov. 23,1933 in Leominster, MA. She was the daughter of the late Thomas and Pauline Cavanaugh. She was the loving wife of 40 years to the late George W. Vallee until his passing on May 25, 2022. She was also pre-deceased by her first husband, Arthur Bissonnette, who passed on November 12,1975.

She was a talented baker, cake decorator, sewer, quilter, and crafter. She thoroughly enjoyed doing each. She was the owner of Nina’s Creative Craft’s, located in Fitchburg, MA.

She was the loving mother to Theodore Bissonnette, Debra Cleary and husband Thomas, Patricia Loya and husband Victor, and Rachel Richard and husband Francis. She was the loving stepmother to Steven Vallee and wife Giselle, Deborah Rivard and husband Steven, and Scott Vallee, who pre-deceased her. She was the loving grandmother to twelve, loving great-grandmother to thirteen. In addition, she leaves behind many nieces and nephews.

A gathering of family and friends will begin on Friday, January 3, 2025 from 4:00 to 6:00pm in the Lavery, Chartrand, and Alario Funeral Home, 99 Summer Street, Fitchburg, MA. A Final Prayer Service by Fr. Dario Acevedo of St. Joseph’s Parish in Fitchburg will begin at 5:30pm. Her funeral will be private.
