Fitchburg :  Noella T. Leclair (Mills), 99 of Fitchburg passed away  peacefully in  Health Alliance Leominster Hospital on Monday May 23,2022.

Noella was born in Fitchburg, MA, December 18,1922,  the daughter of Charles and Flora (LeBlanc) Mills, and lived all of her life in Fitchburg.  She worked many years as an executive secretary for the YMCA in Fitchburg and then went to work for the City of Fitchburg before her retirement several years ago.

She was preceded to heaven by her husband of 57 years ,and love of her life, Eugene in 2000, Anne Leger in 1988, and  James in 2010 her siblings Stella Souza, Charles Mills, Lucille Gagnon, Yolanda Legros, and baby sister Claire.

She is survived by her son Richard Leclair and wife Joanne, daughter- in-law Joan Leclair, son- in-law, Raymond Leger and his wife Mary, her grandchildren, Karen Leclair and partner Michele Layne, Lynn Renda and partner Patrick Rowe, Kevin Leger and wife Laura, Michael Leger and wife Joanne, Jessica Krooke and husband Justin, and Heather Colby and husband Richard, and 16 great grandchildren.

No tears for Noella, as she is walking with Gene , Anne, and Jim.

Her family would like to extend special thank’s  to her nurse Danielle at Leominster Hospital, and to the staff at Manor on the Hill.

Her funeral services are as follows: A Mass to be held on Wednesday June 1,2022 at 11 a.m. in St. Joseph’s Church 49 Woodland St. Fitchburg, with Interment  to  follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. A calling hour will be held on Wednesday morning at the funeral home from  9a.m. until 10:30 a.m. All are invited to attend. A mask is suggested if you plan to attend due to the recent rise in Covid – 19
