Pamela Fenton Obituary

Pamela Ann Fenton, 67, of Lunenburg MA passed away on Thursday April 9, 2026 in the comfort of her daughter and SIL’s home in Rutland MA surrounded by loved ones after a brief battle with brain cancer. Pam was born on February 27, 1959 to Theresa A. (Delorme) Gokey and Edward F. Gokey in Fitchburg MA. Pam or Mimi as some called her was survived by her loving daughter, Erica L. (Gokey) Kliskey and her husband Joshua D. Kliskey, her three beautiful granddaughters Harper, Mackenzie, and Everleigh, her best friend, who was more like a sister, Jeannie Gaudet, sisters Jessica and Kristy, and many more family and friends. Pam was pre-deceased by her parents, her husband Robert L. Fenton, her son Robert B. Fenton, two siblings, Butchie and Cindy, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Pam was born into a family that owned a bus company so naturally at the age of 19 she started driving school bus. This became her passion and career for many years. She worked for a few different bus companies as either a bus driver or in safety management. She retired from the school bus industry after 44 years. Pam found a new purpose and passion later in life working in her church office and serving on ministry teams. After the tragic and sudden loss of her husband she found her calling in helping others walk and work through their own grief and loss. She became certified as a grief coach and facilitated a program at New Life Church called GriefShare for the last 8 years, meeting and helping many people.

Pam may have found pride and purpose in her work over the years, but her joy came from her family!Making memories was important and she didn’t want to miss a thing. She went to all of her granddaughters school concerts, dance competitions and recitals, plannedsimple girls trips to elaborate Disney trips with her daughter and granddaughters. She went on many adventures with her late husband and friends over the years exploring the world. She knew that time together was precious and so she always made time for those she loved.

A funeral service for Pam will take place on Saturday April 25, 2026 at 11:30am at New Life Church, 834 Main Street Leominster, MA 01453. Visitation will begin at 10:30am prior to the service. A private burial for close friends and family will take place at a later date.
