Leominster- Paul G. Bedard, 76 of Leominster died Monday, April 5, 2021 in the Tobey Hospital, Wareham after an illness. Paul was born December 13, 1944 in Fitchburg son of Henry and Mary (Doiron) Bedard.
Paul worked for the General Electric Co for 32 years until it’s closing in Fitchburg and then continued his career doing consulting work with D.R.S. Inc. Paul was a graduate of Fitchburg High School class of 1964 and attended Worcester Polytechnic Institute Paul was a member of St. Joseph Church in Fitchburg and was a member of the American Legion. He was a Vietnam War Veteran serving in the U.S. Army where he was stationed in Germany and Thailand. He was an avid golfer and his favorite place was the White Mountains.
Paul leaves his wife Beverly (Daris) Bedard, one son Derek Bedard and his wife Tammy of Fitchburg, one stepson Christopher T. and one stepdaughter Michelle Woodard both of Leominster, his sister Louise Abell and her husband Roger of Fitchburg, grandchildren; Colin, Mackenzie, Calli and Lacey, nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Eugene Bedard who died in August.
Funeral services will be private and held at the family’s convenience. Burial with Military Honors will be in Massachusetts Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery Winchendon.
