Paul Richard Fogarty

OBITUARY

Mr. Paul Richard Fogarty, of Westminster, previously of Burlington and Barnstable, Massachusetts born on May 19, 1961 in Winchester, Massachusetts, to the late John and Florence Fogarty, passed away suddenly at age 57 on September 29, 2018 in Heywood Hospital, Gardner , MA . He graduated from Burlington High School in 1979 and University of Massachusetts, Amherst in 1983.

Beloved husband of Jody (Tata) Fogarty. Loving father of daughter, Katharine Fogarty; son, Michael Fogarty; stepdaughters, Abigail Tata and Ashlynn Tata.  Dear brother of John Fogarty and Kevin Fogarty; and sisters, Barbara Fogarty and Joanne Vigneau. He was preceded in death, by his previous wife Kimberly (McGrath) Fogarty and his sister, Marlene Sheehan. He was the Vice President of Sales for Long Trail Brewing Company.He was a member of Burlington High School Hall of Fame and University of Massachusetts Varsity Lacrosse Teams (1980-1983).Always the welcoming voice to any family gathering.Watching Paul compete, in just about anything, was a pleasure and usually very entertaining.He had the innate ability to raise a funny story to new levels for all who were listening.  Friend to many. He was a loving father and lover of sports, always the dedicated parent on the sidelines rooting for his children.  He enjoyed golfing and the beach with his family and especially those “FFF” days with Jody. 

Taken to soon.  He will remain, always loved, never forgotten, forever missed.

A celebration of Paul’s life will be held on Sunday October 7,2018 @ The Woods of Westminster Golf Course 90 Bean Porridge Rd. Westminster, MA at 3 p.m. All are invited to attend.
