Paul Ludvigson Obituary

Paul Ludvigson, 76, of Leominster, Massachusetts, passed away on March 25th, 2026, after a brief illness.

Born on January 7th, 1950, in Worcester, Massachusetts, he was the beloved son of the late Helen and Ralph Ludvigson. Paul lives a life marked by devotion to family, steady kindness, and a thoughtful spirit that touched all who knew him.  He was a man whose faith and values reflected in the way he carried himself throughout his life with humility, integrity and care for others.

Paul attended Millbury High School and then graduated from Worcester State University.  He went on to build a respectful career in safety and supervision.  He served as a supervisor and safety officer at Norton Saint-Gobain, where his leadership, knowledge and dependable nature earned the trust of colleagues and coworkers.  He later worked at Fallon Clinic and Saint Vincent's Hospital, continuing to use his skills in service to the well being of others.  Paul approached his work with seriousness and pride, and he was known for being intelligent, creative and deeply committed to do things the right way.

Outside of his career, Paul enjoyed a full and active life.  He loved cycling, skiing, and golfing, and he found great satisfaction in cooking and his impressive carpentry skills. He especially enjoyed preparing Dora's relish and sauces as well as creating beautiful pieces of furniture out of wood, a reflection of both his creativity and his appreciation of sharing good food with others.  These interests were more than just pastimes as they were reflections of his personality and the joy he took in making, building and creating.  Those who knew Paul will remember his inventive mind, his love of nature, his sense of humor and the quiet strength that made him such a steady presence in the lives of others.

Paul is survived by his wife, Judith Ludvigson, who shared his life and companionship with love and devotion for 38 years.  He also leaves his brother Ray Ludvigson and his wife Gail of Millbury, Massachusetts, and his brother Mark Ludvigson and his wife Mary of Arizona; his brother and sister-in-law Rhys and Joyce Henry of Lunenburg, Massachusetts; and his sister-in-law Jeanne Gagnon of Warwick Rhode Island; and numerous, nephews, nieces and cousins who will cherish his memory.  Paul was predeceased by his parents, Helen and Ralph Ludvigson and his niece Karla Ludvigson.

Paul will be remembered as a man of warmth, intelligence, creativity, someone who valued family, worked with purpose, and lived with quiet grace.  His loving presence, his practical wisdom, his humor, and his generous heart will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.  Though his passing leaves a profound sadness, his memory will be a source of gratitude to those who loved him.

Services will be private at the request of his family.
