                                             OBITUARY  NOTICE

Leominster:  Richard R. McNally 83 of Leomisnter, MA passed away peacefully December 27 2019 in Sterling Village, Sterling, MA.

He was born  August 20, 1936 in Fitchburg, MA, son of Thomas and Ann McNally and lived many years in Fitchburg, Lunenburg, Townsend and twenty years in Leominster, MA. Richard worked as a computer Technician for the former Digital Equipment Corp. for sixteen years before his retirement. He was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the Navy and was honorably discharged in 1957.

Richard enjoyed wood working, framing  and airplane molding. He had attended AA for the last 46 years and was a member of CODA Group in Leominster, MA.

He is survived by his sons, Richard R. McNally Jr. of Leominster, MA Steven C. Mc Nally of Pensacola, Florida , his daughter Michelle Morris of Peabody, MA a brother, Francis  McNally and wife Alice of Townsend, MA, and sister Debra Pappas of Leominster, MA, four grandchildren 2 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and his companion for the last twenty years Liela. He was predeceased by his daughters, Sherrie M. Carolis, Jacqueline McNally and Sandra Lee McNally, his sister Susan, and his brother William  "Billy" McNally

His services are on Saturday January 4, 2020 with a service at 11a.m. in the funeral  home. A Calling hour will be held prior to the service starting at 10a.m. until the service time. All are welcome to attend. Burial will Military Honors will be held at a later date in St. Bernard’s Cemetery, Fitchburg, MA.
