Robert E. Buckley

Fitchburg:  Robert E. Buckley 83, of Fitchburg, Ma passed away peacefully at his residence on Saturday, January 18,2025. He was born in Leominster, MA on March 3, 1941 the son of Martin and Gert (Dignard) Buckley.

Robert was a delivery driver for  a local Air Gas company for many years. He was a collector of guns, and enjoyed fishing and hunting.   

In June of 1959 bob enlisted in the U. S. Navy and served during the Vietnam War Era. He was stationed at the U.S. Naval Station in San Francisco, CA. He was honorably discharged in 1963.

He is survived by his daughter, Colleen Bellio and adored his grandchildren. He was known to be independent, but always loved his families help and love.

His wish was to be cremated and have his services at Massachusetts Veteran's Memorial Cemetery in Winchendon. with Military Honors, therefore on Wednesday, February 12,2025 Services for Robert will take place at 10a.m. at Massachusetts Veteran's Memorial Cemetery 111 Glenallen St., Winchendon, MA . All friends and relatives are welcome to attend.
