                                              Obituary Notice

                      Fitchburg:  Robert A. Otto Jr. , 73 of Fitchburg, MA passed away at his residence peacefully on Wednesday, February 12,2025.

Bob was born in Fitchburg, MA son the late Robert A. Otto Sr. and Helen  (Hoye) Otto.

He worked as a painting contractor for many years. Bob liked to be outdoors and was very active at his camp, doing his yard work and landscaping. He enjoyed  biking, hiking, snowshoeing ,  and relaxing in the back yard by the fire.

Bob also completed several 5k road races and triathlons. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the Marine Corps and was honorably discharged in 1975.

He is survived by his life partner of 15 years, Annmarie Godin, and siblings, Kathryn Otto, Patricia Naughton and husband Peter, James Otto and wife Karen, and Elizabeth McDougal and husband Evan along with several nieces, and nephews.

At his request there are no planned funeral services or calling hours.
