                                              Obituary Notice

Westminster:  Ronald R. Connors 79, of Westminster, MA passed away peacefully  on Wednesday, September 18,2024 at his residence, with his loving family at his side.

Ron was born in Fitchburg, MA July 9,1945 the son of Richard and Rosa (Chrisafuli) Connors and was raised in Fitchburg, MA.

He attended and graduated from St. Bernard’s Central Catholic High School Class of 1963. Upon his graduation he enlisted in the U.S. Army and served during the Vietnam War as  a radar operator. He was honorably discharged from active duty  in  1966, and was the reserves until 1969. Ron worked for the former Borden Chemical in Leominster, MA and Chem Design in Fitchburg, MA before his retirement several years ago.

Ron was very proud of his family. He loved watching his children and grandchildren play their sports. He had a wonderful sense of humor and will be truly missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife  Beverly (Forcier) Connors, sons, Sean Connors and wife Keary, and Shane Connors, five grandchildren, Zackery, Risa, Anna, Nora, and Megan, his sister Rosa Martin, brother-in-law Denis Cormier, sister-in-laws, Cynthia Connors, Suzanne Connors and Debra Forcier, along with several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers , William and Daniel.

Services for Ron will be held on Thursday, October 3,2024 at 11 a.m. in the Massachusetts Veteran’s Cemetery, Winchendon, MA , with Military Honors. All friends and relatives are welcome to attend.
