Ronald R. "Papa" St. Cyr Sr.

With heavy hearts the St. Cyr family announces the passing of our wonderful amazing father, Ronald “Papa” St. Cyr Sr. age 89 who passed away on May 13th, 2024. 

Papa was a beloved father, grandfather, great grandfather, and uncle who will be deeply missed by all who knew him. 

Ronald R.St. Cyr Sr. was born on August 13th, 1934 in Fitchburg MA.

In his free time Papa enjoyed his Silver Sneaker classes, golfing, Sunday Funday, camping, sitting by the campfire, cookouts, and spending time with his family and friends. You could always find him at his childrens or grandchildren's sporting activities cheering them on.

Ron was an active member at the Fitchburg Senior Center, Fitchburg Social Club, and Eastwood Club. Ron was always eager to share his knowledge, guidance, support, and encouragement to all no matter what challenges they faced.

Ron is preceded by his beloved wife June D “Lily” St. Cyr of Fitchburg,brother Lawrence St. Cyr of Fitchburg, mother Lillian Hatfield of Florida, and father Raymond St. Cyr of Fitchburg. 

Ron is survived by his four children; Ronald St. Cyr Jr. of Saugus, his wife Mary and children Michaela, John and Tommy. James St. Cyr of Fitchburg, his wife Michelle and children Ashley and Jimmy. Jill Legros of Fitchburg, her husband Ron and their children Zackary and Lauren. Robert St. Cyr of Fitchburg, his wife Karen and children Andrew, Sophia, and Connor. 

And his surrogate son Todd Peters of Tewksbury and his son Glenn Peters of Fitchburg. 

Great grandchildren Hannah, Christopher, and Colton. With many nieces, nephews and surrogate grandson Liam Brigham. 

A funeral mass will be held at St. Bernard's Parish at St Camillus de Lellis Church 333 Mechanic St, Fitchburg, MA, 01420 on Saturday May 18th at 10am. 

There will be no calling hours and a private burial will be held at a later date.
